Ilene Graff

ILENE GRAFF is best known for the 5 1/2 seasons she spent as the mom on the ABC-TV comedy, MR. BELVEDERE. Her Broadway stage work includes runs in PROMISES, PROMISES, (pit singer; Fran Kubelik) GREASE (Sandy Dumbrowski) and I LOVE MY WIFE (Cleo, original cast). Other theatre credits include Rose in GYPSY, CHARLEY’S AUNT with Charles Grodin, ANNIE GET YOUR GUN as Annie, an ADA Award winning performance in YOU AND ME, an original musical composed by her husband, Ben Lanzarone, and a tour of I OUGHT TO BE IN PICTURES in which she co-starred with Richard Kline. She co-starred with Glenn Close in a new film version of Rogers and Hammerstein’s SOUTH PACIFIC, and wrapped shooting an independent film called LOVING ANNABELLE this summer. She recently played Jack’s mom in a new venture; Storybook Theatre Live’s DVD of JACK AND THE BEANSTALK (music by Ben Lanzarone). Ilene just taped a guest-starring role on Fran Drescher’s new series, LIVING WITH FRAN. Her CD, BABY’S BROADWAY LULLABIES (available at www.ilenegraff.com) was nominated for a Grammy. Ben and Ilene’s finest production is their daughter Nikka, a recent graduate of The Boston Conservatory.
