WHITNEY
KATHLEEN VIGIL is no stranger to the stage: her
life has revolved around the theater since the
age of five starring in such shows as "Charlotte's
Web”, “Babes In Toyland”, and “The
Wizard Of Oz" to name a few. In 2005, Whitney
was the celebrated third place winner in the annual
Los Angeles Music Center Spotlight Competition,
out-singing more than 1200 other contestants. This
past spring, she traveled with her high school
choir, performing her way throughout Europe. Although
she can be seen in numerous TV commercials, she
is most proud of her Public Service Announcement
against Date-Rape. In addition to her theatrical
stage credits, Whitney has also had the wonderful
opportunity of guest starring several times on
the show “That’s So Raven” and
can be seen in the cult film “Attack of the
Flying People”. An avid learner, Whitney
currently studies acting with Dennis LaValle and
Peter Spellos; dancing at Joe Malone’s Performing
Arts Annex in LA, and tap with Laurie Johnson.
She is thrilled to be sharing the stage with her
fellow veteran performers and to be making her
New York debut in this upcoming concert of “Camille;
La Dame Aux Camélias”.
