ELLERY
BEGGS has been working as a professional
actress
for the past 7 years. She attended the BFA Acting/music
theater program at Marymount Manhattan College
under the direction of Pat Hoag-Simon . She has
been seen in numerous leading roles in regional
theaters and national tours across the U.S and
Canada including Carousel (Julie), Crazy for you
( Polly), Big River ( Mary-Jane) , and most recently
sang in " Children and Art"- the 75th
anniversary concert for Stephen Sondheim. As an
established tap dancer, she has shared the stage
with many great artists including the late Gregory
Hines and Buster Brown . When not on stage , she
has served as a guest faculty for many performing
arts schools in the U.S , teaching rhythm tap and
acting technique to young artists. This past June
she received the role of a lifetime when she married
her prince , Rommy Sandhu (director/choreographer). "Where
they create dreams, there were not enough for the
both of us...so we saw the same one."
